Genealogie - PN6 (Pascal Narcisse)

Why did i make my own genealogie Software:

I wanted an easy way to draw automaticaly the vertical position(=dates) for all represented person/period. I find it is nicer to understand the genealogie: when the user can just have a look directly vertical time positions/orders, without reading each date characters.
I wanted to be able to store additional data(texts and pictures) anywhere on the genealogie.

Step 1: Create a new folder, and copie inside: _Genealogie.exe, QtCore4.dll, QtGui4.dll (files provided under, into genealogie.zip).
Step 2: Copy into this current folder all your wanted pictures.
Step 3: Run _Genealogie(English).exe OR _Genealogie(Francais).exe.
Step 4: Go into menu/Edit/DiagramSettings: to select the dates to begin/end (=genealogie height), the number of columns (=genealogie width).
Step 5: On the middle of the diagram, right click / New period: to add a new person/period.
- Set birth date (into the 1st text field): to auto-adjust the top of the drawing.
- Set death date (into the 2nd text field): to auto-adjust the bottom of the drawing.
- Set title (into the text 5th field): to write text into the drawing (the first line is bigger/bold).
- Set details (into the text 6th field): to store annex text to retrieve without displaying into the diagram.
Step 6: On the diagram, on the period, left click to select + after right click onto a period: to edit it.
Step 7: On the diagram, on the period, hold a left click onto a period: to move it horizontaly.
Step 8: On the diagram, on the period, hold a left click onto a period handle: to move it and link onto the handle of another period.
Step 9: Over the diagram, you can click on buttons to zoom in/out.
Step 10: Under the diagram, you can select any period/person into the list, and after go into menu/Edit/ChangePeriod: to edit it.
Step 11: Go into menu/File/ExportImage: to save it into a big image.
